At a Union Parliament session held by the military in Naypyidaw today, the Presidential Scrutiny Committee announced that the three vice presidential candidates — junta leader Min Aung Hlaing, U Nyo Saw, and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye — all meet the required qualifications.

One of the three candidates will be elected as President, while the remaining two will serve as Vice President (1) and Vice President (2). The vote is scheduled to take place tomorrow, April 3, at the Union Parliament convened by the military.
