A car crash in Ahlone Township, Yangon Region, resulted in injuries to seven people, two of whom sustained serious injuries, on the morning of August 13, 2024. The incident occurred around 6:30 AM at the Sin Min Bus Stop on Lower Kyi Myin Dine Road in the Karen Chaung Ward.
A speeding white Caldina vehicle lost control and plowed into a group of people waiting for a bus. The car also collided with another parked vehicle before coming to a stop.
Eyewitnesses reported that seven people were injured in the crash, with two of them suffering critical injuries. The injured individuals were transported to Yangon General Hospital by vehicles belonging to the Than Wai Ga Social Welfare Organization.
