On the evening of May 30, the Together Urban Force (TUF) attacked the Kyokone West Ward Administration Office in Insein Township, Yangon, using small arms. The announcement was made on TUF’s social media page on May 31.

The attack occurred at 7:05 PM on May 30, targeting the office that had been enforcing the military junta’s laws and collecting taxes from residents. TUF’s statement indicated that the attack was aimed at the ward administration office’s involvement in supporting the junta. The extent of the injuries to the junta-affiliated ward administrator and Pyusawhti members is still under investigation.

Following the attack, TUF successfully withdrew without casualties. TUF has declared that Yangon urban guerrilla forces are committed to dismantling the junta’s control and urged the public to avoid areas related to junta activities, including administrative offices and patrolling sites.

In their statement, TUF emphasized the need for civilians to steer clear of junta-associated establishments to ensure their safety.
