The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) and the Danu People’s Liberation Front/Army (DPLF/DPLA), along with their allies, distributed rice to residents of Naung Cho Township, according to a statement from the DPLF/DPLA.
The PSLF/TNLA, DPLF/DPLA, and their allied forces have taken control of Naung Cho. On July 19, they provided rice to local residents who had recently returned to the area after fleeing due to conflict. This act of distributing rice is part of their humanitarian efforts to support the returning displaced people.
Since June 25, the DPLF/DPLA, in cooperation with the TNLA, Mandalay People’s Defense Force (PDF), and other allied groups, have been engaging in combat against the military junta.
The DPLF/DPLA emerged as a resistance group following the military coup in Myanmar, and their numbers are estimated to have grown into the thousands.
These efforts highlight the ongoing conflict and the significant impact it has on the civilian population, as well as the active resistance efforts by various ethnic armed groups in Myanmar.
