The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced yesterday that they have successfully cleared all military camps of the junta forces in Mogok town and have taken full control of the town on the 30th day of the 1027 Operation, Phase 2.

According to the TNLA’s statement, the TNLA’s Division 2 forces completed the operation to clear and capture all junta military camps in Mogok town by 5:00 PM on July 23.

Similarly, the TNLA’s Division 3 forces are continuing their offensive against the remaining junta forces at the strategic hill camp in Mong Mit town, with reports indicating that fighting is ongoing as of noon on July 24.

Additionally, in Division 2’s Naungcho township, heavy fighting between TNLA and junta forces is occurring in Thae Khao village. In Ban Hwe, the TNLA reported that the junta forces stationed there have launched nine artillery strikes on the vicinity of Oum Ma Tee village.
