The university will provide education in subjects such as teacher training, agriculture, health, development, social sciences, computer studies, and Kayan literature and language. Future expansions will include natural sciences, economics, law, and urban planning.
The Kayan National Education Committee was established in 2022 and currently operates 145 basic education high schools, serving approximately 13,000 students with a teaching staff of around 1,000 educators.
The committee has expressed gratitude to supporters, including the Kayan New Land Party (KNLP), donors, Dr. Thein Lwin and the Critical Thinking Foundation, and educational partners, for their contributions and support.
